J.A.W. is an ASUW sponsored RSO whose mission is to promote jazz performance and education throughout both UW and the state of Wyoming. Just a reminder. We have our first meeting of the school year today at 5:00pm in the Fine Arts Lobby. We will elect officers, discuss renewal procedures (which have changed), and upcoming projects.
Please plan to attend. If you cannot attend this preliminary meeting but would still like to be a part of this organization there will be a sign up sheet in the basement of fine arts on the Jazz poster board (next to the wind ensemble board). Thank you and I hope to see everyone at 5:00pm.

The University of Wyoming is hosting its own Jazz Festival March 27th and 28th.
Guest artists include: Michael Rodriguez, Kelsey Shiba, Damani Phillips, David Scott and Ed Breazeale.

Hello members and followers of the Jazz Advocates of Wyoming. Bass Extremes featuring Victor Wooten and Steve Bailey will perform on April 10th at 7pm in Casper at the Natrona County High School auditorium. The cost of tickets are only $10 and all proceeds go towards The NC and Kelly Walsh band programs. Earlier that day, they will also be conducting a free clinic from Noon-2pm also at the NCHS auditorium. This is a very exciting group made up of some incredible musicians. Tickets are available at either high school office, Hill music, or at the door of the event.
