I have the best job in the world! How many people get to help their students make awesome sounds like these?! Josiah did a great job figuring out new multiphonics for a performance of Travis Laplante’s quartet Running in a Field of Flowers. Stay tuned for more. (Pun intended!) Josiah Cuthbert

We had a wonderful couple of days welcoming UW alum Dr. Mikayla Peterson back to campus. Her masterclass and recital were truly exceptional.

Moments like these are a reminder of what a privilege it is to teach—seeing former students thrive while current students grow and find inspiration in their work. We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of that journey. Scott Turpen Mikayla Lisa Peterson Jennifer Turpen
