Don’t be fooled by the label—though you will see a flautist in the quintet at the end of the program, Alicia is indeed playing the horn 😏📯

HUGE congrats to horn students Drew Gramlich and Ayda Lewis for graduating this past weekend!! Drew was the final holdover from my very first year at UW, and Ayda has been through so much in her time in the studio (we are so delighted that she is returning for her masters and will continue to participate in the horn studio). What a journey! Santé et bonne chance!!

One awesome thing about being a musician is the endless opportunity for collaboration. Prof Katherine Smith was delighted to join UW’s Collegiate Chorale with Kandice Gardner, directed by Dr. Holly Dalrymple, to create the wonderful performance of this beautiful piece!
