University of Wyoming - Department of Plant Sciences The Department of Plant Sciences at the University of Wyoming aims to promote and improve the utilization of plants to meet human needs.

We offer a degree in Plant Production and Protection, and graduate degrees (M.S. & PhD) in Plant Sciences. The Department of Plant Sciences is known for excellent research, teaching and extension programs that attract nearly a million dollars annually in funding. The department offers Masters and PhD degrees in Plant Sciences and administers an undergraduate degree in Plant Production and Protecti

on, with minors and concentrations available in Agronomy, Horticulture, Pest Management, and Agroecology. Faculty are engaged in regional and international agricultural issues through a combination of basic and applied studies, extension, and training of undergraduate and graduate students. Major activities center on agronomy, weed science, plant pathology, horticulture, plant breeding, and forage science.
