The 2026 Balanced Man Scholarship Banquet was a huge success! Members, alumni, faculty advisors, and PNMs made up one of our biggest banquets in recent memory! Congratulations to Catch Downey of Sundance, Wyoming, as well as Tyler Girdeen of Castle Rock, Colorado, for receiving our two $500 Balanced Man Scholarships. We also welcomed one of our biggest initial new member classes and are excited to guide these men on their journey to becoming Balanced Men.

We told y’all we weren’t going anywhere and we meant it! 3 months ago we were unsure of our future, after the university demolition of our old house at 1512 E Sorority Row, so what did we do? Bought our own new house, of course. We’re honored to reside in the historic UW Presidents mansion and we can’t wait for this new chapter!! Thanks to our Executive Board, agent Tanya Keller, and attorney Dale Cottam for getting to work quickly on this and the amazing local alumni that are making this possible, stay tuned for more!

It’s the birthday of the current president of the Wyoming Alpha Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon, Orion Cottam !!!!

As a president who embodies a true balanced man, he upholds the values of virtue, diligence, and brotherly love.

Our chapter has gone through a fair amount of turmoil and uncertainty due to unforeseen circumstances that many are well aware of, but Orion has been the glue that has held and continues to hold this chapter together.

Orion will go down in the history books as one of the best presidents of the Wyoming Alpha chapter, for good reason.

Our own VP recruitment, Teegan Lafollette was able to attend the Ruck Leadership Institute this last week.

Held every summer, this intensive multi-day event gathers the fraternity’s top rising leaders to focus on personal leadership styles, the Balanced Man Ideal, and implementing culture change on their campuses.

We had the incredible opportunity to head back to Mountain View for our spring formal at the Blacks Fork River Lodge!! A huge thanks to them for letting us stay for the weekend, and a huge thanks to all of our brothers and their lovely dates that made this event unforgettable!!!
