Interested in supporting Wyoming-based researchers who study plants, animals, and ecosystem processes? Attend the 3rd Annual PiEE Bazaar Sunday, Nov 2nd, 9am - 1pm at the LPCC South Gym!
The PiEE Bazaar is UW's Ecology Graduate Student Association’s annual fundraising event. Most of the vendors present are students in PiEE themselves, and they are scientists who also produce incredible art. Each vendor present will keep 60% of their proceeds from the event, with the remaining 40% being donated to the Ecology Graduate Student Association. These funds are then used to host the annual Program in Ecology and Evolution Symposium – an event held in February where students invite a keynote speaker, present their research, and attend workshops. Funds raised by the Bazaar are also often used to support small social gatherings for ecology and evolution graduate students.
This family-friendly event will include live music and $5 educational crafts for children! These crafts will be led by PiEE students and often focus on the animals and plants the students themselves study. Tokens for participation in the crafts will be sold at the welcome table.
