Hey chapter friends, and alumni. Merry Christmas everyone! If you haven't heard officially, I am now retired.
Many students were 1/2 through my courses at the end of spring, along with impending ABET visit, i chose to wait until completion of ABET visit, and seeing through my students in least sqrs sequence & boundary law sequence. In simple terms ... to complete what I started, so to speak. Bravo to many new graduates!
The global campus has unquestionably overtaken main. Should this group continue? Competition? Camaraderie?
At distance "global campus" or local, we've got tools to make it happen. These are STUDENT groups, initiated by you all (or someone willing to take charge) supported by faculty. I once saw great basin college of elko, NV win Second place. Most of them had never met F2F. I want to give you a challenge.
In this transition to new faculty, there may be a hiatus of sorts for permanent advisor role.
BUT, out of respect, i offer my continued support, I truly uderstand the benefits of "extra-curricula" activities, and commaradarie.
