The 2026 Honors Global Citizenship Seminar in Berlin: Students taught each other at historical sites a walking tour of the “mitte,” crossed the city on public transportation for a small-group photo scavenger hunt, reflected quietly at a Concentration Camp Memorial site, and celebrated at our final program dinner. Students are heading home after some extra visits to Prague, Vienna, Paris, Athens, and more - using new travel skills with more confidence about their place in the world.

The Global Citizenship group wound down in London with a West End musical before transitioning to Amsterdam. Fun explorations balanced with a more serious focus on the occupation of the city in WW is a vivid reminder of that challenging historical period - and how it relates to current events.
