The Center for Migration, Demography, and Population Studies is a collaborative, multidisciplinary center engaged in high-impact research on migration and demographic change in the Mountain West and around the world. It shares information about the center as well as related research projects. The CMDP is a collaborative, multidisciplinary center that brings together faculty from across the social

and natural sciences to study migration and its effects in Las Vegas, the Mountain West, and around the world. The CMDP is committed to pursuing innovative research and pedagogical rigor. As such, it supports and promotes various research projects. Currently, the center supports the following:
"Transnational Actions, Domestic Outcomes: How Diasporas Affect Change in Their Home Countries"
