The Intersection: Academic Multicultural Resource Center is a comprehensive and sustainable resource center for students — particularly first-generation and students of color — faculty and staff, and our community at large. The Intersection provides access and linkages to research, people, information, and services. The Intersection is a safe, nurturing environment for students, faculty and staff.

Here people can gather, exchange ideas, and develop a shared sense of community at UNLV. Through sustained developmental programming and partnerships with academic colleges, departments, and community stakeholders and organizations, students are empowered and engaged for success.

The Intersection will be holding training that equips faculty, staff, and student leaders with foundational knowledge and practical strategies to support students whose educational experiences may be shaped by immigration-related policies, legal uncertainty, and limited access to traditional resources. 🦋📚🧰

Trainings are being held Thursday, February 26th from 1:00 to 3:00pm in SU 222 and Wednesday, April 8th from 10:00am to 12:00pm in SU 218. 🗓️⏰📍

TheDream.US is the nation’s largest college & career success program for immigrant youth; over 12,000 Scholars awarded, 4,200 in college today, and 4,500 college graduates! This program unlocks higher education, careers, and immigration pathways for Dreamers nationwide. 🦋💰
