Before you scan, first ask yourself “Where does this really go?” Don’t let scammers score a touchdown. 🏈🔒

QR phishing is a common cyberattack method that has continued to grow, with millions of attacks reported in emails over the past year.

Protect yourself before you scan:
👀 Slow down and consider what the code is asking you to do, especially if you are asked to provide login information or make a payment.
🔗 Check the URL before opening the link, looking out for misspellings or look-a-like website addresses
🚩 Report phishing to stop attacks while protecting yourself and your fellow football fans.

This past summer, 25 Las Vegas middle and high school students participated in UNLV’s first AI Explorers Camp.

Hosted by , the five-day program gave them hands-on experience with AI through projects and activities designed in part by UNLV student employees.

“Some were brand new to AI at the start of the week, but by the end, they were using multiple AI tools together to create a product they could pitch,” camp director AJ Angulo said.

For these students, the week was about more than seeing what AI can do. It was about discovering what they can do with it.
