Today, the sorors of the Eta Chi Sigma Alumnae chapter honor the life and legacy of Cultured Pearl Arcola F. Stafford as she made her Earthly transition yesterday morning. Inducted May 15, 1969 into the Alpha Xi chapter, Cultured Pearl Stafford was a proud Charter member of the Eta Chi Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Las Vegas, NV, Charter member of the Mu Rho Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Henderson, NV, SPEAR foundation board member, Emeritus Director, trailblazer, educator, and faithful steward of the SPEAR Foundation and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Her impact in Southern Nevada as an educator and public servant will continue to be felt for generations to come.
A proud Life Member and Cultured Pearl of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and an esteemed alumna of Philander-Smith College, Cultured Pearl Staffordโs leadership and impact extended deeply throughout the sisterhood and community. Whether through her work in education, the arts, the SPEAR Foundation, or the sorority, she leaves behind a legacy rooted in excellence, service, and love for people.
Since 1993, Cultured Pearl Stafford faithfully served alongside the SPEAR Foundation Founding President & CEO, as well as the 18th International Grand Basileus of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., Corine J. Green - helping to shape and sustain the vision of the Foundation. As a founding board member and immediate past Treasurer for more than 30 years, her stewardship, financial leadership, wisdom, and unwavering commitment helped guide the Foundation with integrity and purpose.
