Looking for a course that takes learning beyond the classroom?

JOUR 433: Integrated Marketing Communication Competition gives students the opportunity to put their skills to the test through a national competition and gain hands-on experience working in an integrated marketing communication setting.

The class is open to students across concentrations, not just PR and Advertising, and prerequisites may be waived on a case-by-case basis.

Interested in JOUR 433 but don’t meet the prerequisites? Reach out to Professor Shata directly at [email protected] to discuss whether a prerequisite waiver may be possible.

Congratulations to Dr. Linda Dam, on the publication of her latest research in the Journal of Promotion Management!

Her article, "We Have to Eat That Too! Examining Injunctive and Descriptive Norms in Food-Related Social Media Use," explores how social norms are influenced by food-related social media use, and the impact it can have on food consumption and social media sharing intentions.
