UNLV SOAP The Student Organization of Addiction Professionals (S.O.A.P.) We accomplish these goals by facilitating relationships with community partners.

The Student Organization of Addiction Professionals is dedicated to the support and development of future addictions professionals who are currently enrolled in various degree programs at UNLV. is a CSUN recognized organization formed in 2004 which is dedicated to the support and development of future addiction professionals. The organization is made up of the UNLV student community and coordinate

d by a faculty member and UNLV Alumni from the Lincy Institute. We coordinate and sponsor community service opportunities to enrich our member’s relationship with the addiction community and to serve as outreach volunteers to at risk populations, such as youth and disadvantaged groups. The organization is also involved in other events and activities that promote awareness and prevention to the social concern of addiction. Current undergraduates as well as graduate students attending UNLV are eligible for membership in S.O.A.P. Non-students, faculty, staff and other members in the community are always welcome to attend meetings, presentation and community outreach events, however they will not be granted membership in the organization.

Hello Everyone,

We are honored to have the opportunity to volunteer our time and energy to support those who have lost loved ones to he**in addiction. We are still looking for new members for SOAP and volunteers for this event. We were asked to show up at 3:30 pm on the day of the event and can leave when we need to. It is fine to stay until the end of the event if we'd like which is 7 pm. Let us know if you are interested in participating in this event with us!
