UNLV PGA Golf Management University Program The UNLV PGA Golf Management program is accredited by the PGA of America and administered through the William F. Harrah College of Hospitality. linktr.ee/unlvpga

In addition to being a valued asset to the university community, to the Las Vegas/Southern Nevada community, and to the golf community at large, our goals in the PGA golf management program are to:

•Provide a challenging and comprehensive academic experience, preparing students to successfully meet all necessary concentration requirements to obtain PGA membership.
•Recruit a diverse, talented, an

d well-rounded student population.
•Support the growth and development of the PGA golf managment student association.
•Provide for each student well-defined, comprehensive internship experiences that will facilitate exemplary professional capabilities in all facets of golf management.
•Facilitate students' progression through PGA checkpoint testing and successful completion of the PGA Playing Ability Test (PAT).

We’re excited to share that our alumni has joined the team at Titleist Performance Institute as Principal of Player Research and Instruction and we couldn’t be more proud of him.

Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) is the world’s leading education and training organization focused on understanding how the human body performs in relation to the golf swing.

In his new role, Paxton will collaborate closely with TPI co-founders Dave Phillips and Dr. Greg Rose, work alongside leading Tour professionals, and help drive innovative research that continues to shape the future of the golf industry.

Paxton brings a strong passion for player development and evidence-based instruction, and we’re excited to see the impact he will make as TPI continues advancing performance, education, and research across the golf industry.

Hunter Kitagawa represented UNLV at the 2026 PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship held May 4–6 at The Park in West Palm Beach, Florida. Known as one of the most culturally significant events in collegiate golf for minority-serving institutions, the championship featured three rounds of competition and brought together some of the most talented players in the game. Hunter described it as a true honor to compete and represent UNLV on such a meaningful stage, and he is grateful for the opportunity and the memories made throughout the week. Meet some of our incoming UNLV PGA Golf Management students ⛳️ We’re excited to welcome this talented group to the PGM family!
🏌🏽‍♂️ Isaac Mobley – Introduced to golf by his grandfather, Isaac currently competes on his high school golf team and is excited to build connections, meet new people, and learn the business side of the game.
🏌🏻‍♀️ Colleen Stadler – Colleen has been playing golf since she was 6 years old and recently wrapped up her fourth varsity season, helping lead her team to a 4th-place finish at the State Championship. She’s excited to explore a new side of golf while building relationships and opportunities in the industry.
🏌🏽‍♂️ Jack Hess – A lifelong golfer with experience competing in high school events and American Junior Golf Association tournaments, Jack is eager to learn how the golf industry operates behind the scenes. His favorite course? Makai Golf Course in Kauai.
🏌🏽‍♂️ Jackson Valentin – After four years competing for Green Valley High School and playing in SNJGA and Junior PGA events, Jackson is looking forward to learning the business side of golf and developing lasting relationships within the golf community.
🏌🏽‍♂️ Lucas Babst – Lucas has competed in tournaments across the West Coast since he was 6 years old and served as captain of his varsity team senior year. He’s excited to learn more about the business of golf and help others fall in love with the game. Go Rebs!
🏌🏻‍♀️ Addison Hines – Addison began competing in tournaments at just 6 years old. Committed to the UNLV Rebels women’s golf women’s golf team, she’s excited to pursue a degree centered around her passion while continuing to grow in both golf and golf management.
🏌🏽‍♂️ Trevor Griffin - Trevor has been a four-year varsity member of his high school team, served as team captain, earned MVP honors, and captured his CIF League Individual title in 2024. He is excited to explore all sides of the golf industry and for the internship opportunities ahead.

Congratulations to Tony Zhang and Levi Snyder for passing their Player Ability Test at Boulder Creek this past April 8th! And congratulations to Patrick Park, SungJi Ok, Alex Olson, Matthew Solomon, Hojun Kim, Louie DePiro, Paul Narayan, William Babcock, Suhyeong Lee, Andrew Kang, AJ Spence, Lucas Howell, Adam Bennie, and Tanner Tucker for passing their PAT last October at Las Vegas Golf Club!

This is a major accomplishment and milestone in the professional golf management program and we are proud of our students. Keep raising the bar! ⛳️👏🏼🏌🏽‍♂️
