For this purpose, it is necessary to form a federation of all Bikram Yoga studios around the country and formulate the formal rules of sporting competition, as well as lobbying CONADE (The National Commission of Physic

al Culture and Sport) to recognise yoga practice as a sport in Mexico. The Federation promotes the practice of Bikram Yoga and will encourage the establishment of new Bikram Yoga studios in each of the country’s states, with the aim of having all 32 states covered by 2016.
