An internship in the Department of Criminal Justice provides an unmatched opportunity to gain real-world experience working alongside criminal justice professionals. Students who are juniors or seniors, hold a minimum of a 2.75 GPA, and have completed CRJ 104, CRJ 270, and CRJ 301 are eligible to meet with an internship screener. One of our associate professors, Gillian Pinchevsky, will be moderating a panel about Domestic Violence in Southern Nevada at the City of Las Vegas Government City Hall on October 24th from 5:00-7:30 PM. Panelists include representatives from The Shade Tree of Las Vegas , Safe Nest TADC , The R**e Crisis Center, and LVMPD.
