After weeks of hard work, the CA-340: Nonprofit Communication crew successfully delivered our presentation to StageRight! today. We were thrilled to have them join us on campus, and we loved getting to share our creative recommendations with such an impactful organization.

CA-340: Nonprofit Communication is wrapping up its deliverables. We’re excited (and ready!) to present our final strategies and recommendations to the StageRight! team this Friday. Huge thanks to Dr. Farrington for the guidance throughout this project!

Huge congratulations to junior Communication & Media Arts major, Jacob Valmassoni! 👏

Jacob recently traveled to Pittsburgh to present his exploratory study, “’It’s nice to have a community:’ Emerging themes of connection among Dungeons & Dragons players across modalities,” at the Eastern Communication Association (ECA) conference.

Developed in his CA 401: Communication Projects class under the guidance of Dr. Jessica Harvey, Jacob’s research dives into what draws D&D players to engage in play online versus in-person. We are so proud of his hard work and contribution to the field!
