SBC welcomes Dr. Caleb McCord to the college administrative team! 💙

Dr. McCord is stepping into three vital roles on campus as our new Dean of Student Affairs, Chair of Theology, and Faculty member.

Ministerial Roots: Dr. McCord joins us directly from the field, currently serving as Pastor of First Baptist Church of Sanford. Dr. McCord has previously served in youth ministry.

Academic Excellence: Dr. McCord holds a Doctorate of Ministry from Liberty University, and a MA and BS (Summa Cum Laude) from William Carey University.

Dr. McCord is uniquely equipped to mentor our students spiritually, lead campus life, and challenge our students in the classroom in their Biblical studies.

Jones County School District partners with Southeastern Baptist College for dual credit courses ⬇️

Southeastern Baptist College is proud to announce the formal signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Jones County School District, establishing a new dual enrollment partnership for local high school students.
This collaboration creates a pathway for Jones County High School students to earn college credit while completing their high school diplomas. By attending classes at SBC, students can jumpstart their higher education journey in a supportive, faith-based environment right here in Laurel.
SBC Provost and Chief Academic Officer, Dean Regina Reddoch is committed to strengthening SBC's relationship with our area high schools.
