Sigma Psi Zeta is a multicultural progressive Greek organization. We are a cultural, social, educational, and community-service oriented sorority.

Sigma Psi Zeta is a progressive multicultural Greek organization. Sigma Psi Zeta was founded on March 23, 1994 and incorporated on March 15, 1996. We are recognized under the laws of the state of New York. Like the 10 founders, the 10 Rays of Sisterhood form the basis of our sorority. They are characteristics all sisters work to best exemplify: integrity, legacy, scholarship, philanthropy, professionalism, community, sisterhood, culture, citizenship, activism.

This month is all about celebrating the LGBTQ+ community in all its varied forms. We celebrate the many identities, experiences, and stories that make up the LGBTQ+ community, and we stand with those who continue to advocate for inclusion, acceptance, and human rights. Pride is not only a celebration—it is also an opportunity to learn, listen, support one another, and foster environments where everyone feels valued and respected. Happy Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈

March 2026 marked TEN YEARS since the establishment of Sigma Psi Zeta Sorority, Inc. on KU campus! Earlier this month, we got together with SYZters from the Charter Class all the way to the Pi Class to celebrate Alpha Mu. Take a look back at our banquet with us, and see you at our 20 year celebration!

Happy April! Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) is a time to raise awareness, support survivors, and stand together to prevent sexual violence, a fight that is crucial to SYZ. This year, we honor 25 years of SAAM, a quarter of a century of uniting survivors, advocates, and communities in the fight to reduce and prevent sexual violence. SAAM is about fostering conversations around consent, respect, and accountability while building safer, more supportive communities for everyone. Take care of one another.
