doctoral candidate Abisola Akínsìkù is featured in KU News for her research on gender and power dynamics in New Nollywood Epics.

Her article "Power Dynamics: Women in New Nollywood Epics" uses feminism as a conceptual lens to interrogate how female characters are portrayed in this burgeoning industry. The article also appears in the journal African Studies.

Hi everyone! Get ready for our BIGGEST event of the year! This one-day event will be our 15th annual Super Service Saturday!

Join the CCO on August 29th from 9am-2pm. Volunteers will check in at 9am at the Kansas Union and get assigned to various sites in Lawrence. Sign up now on volunteer.ku.edu/need or click the link in our bio!
