As Black History Month comes to an end, The Counseling Center wants to take a moment to elevate the voices of some of our very own amazing Black Professionals and students on campus.

Join us for A Discussion For Us: Mental Health in the Black Community! This Panel event is a
unique opportunity for Broncs to learn about the unique mental health challenges within the Black community from inspiring Panelists.

Panelists:
•Dr. Anissa Moody, Ph.D. - Director of the Counseling Center
•Reggie Walker, M.A. - Director of the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP)
•Maranisha Rivers - President of the Black Student Union (BSU)

Black Voices Weekend is continuing this Friday, Saturday and Sunday; and this time, it's airing on 107.7 The Bronc. Tune in as we play nothing but the biggest hits and best variety of motown, pop, rock, soul, R&B, and Gospel sung exclusively by your favorite black and brown artists. The jam begins today, February 25 all the way through Sunday, February 27 all weekend long to hear nothing but songs sung by the most talented African-American Artists! Join us this Friday, February 25, 2022, for Colorful Connections in Sports: 5pm to 6:30pm in the Student Recreation Center Atrium, open to students, faculty, staff and alumni - The evening will begin with a pre-game mixer with prizes to connect students of color with like faculty, staff and alumni. Immediately following, during the men’s basketball game, the “COLORFUL CONNECTIONS in Sports” group will be acknowledged and the Front Row Step Team will perform. One lucky student will win an HDTV!

Tuesday 22nd: Spotlight Tuesday: share someone on this campus, students, faculty, and staff, that you admire and join us at the SRC 12-1 for gifts of appreciation!
Wednesday 23rd: Wayback Wednesday: dress in your best 80s-90s gear
Thursday 24th: Black is Sports: Dress up in your fave sports team attire
