Research and writing are intertwined processes, which is why we are launching the Central Research & Writing Support Drop-in Hours, a new initiative from the Academic Success Center Writing Studio and University Library. This service offers a holistic approach to writing and research, providing students with more efficient and effective support.

Each Friday, beginning February 14th, for the remainder of the month, drop-in hours will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. You can receive assistance from Writing Studio undergraduate tutors and research assistance from University librarians at the third-floor service desk in the F. Moore Library building.

Students will be able to:
Receive combined writing and research assistance
Drop in for one-on-one tutoring in writing
Gain assistance from librarians with using library databases, evaluating resources, citing sources, searching and narrowing down research topics

We believe this integrated approach will improve the quality of your work and boost your confidence in writing and research.

If you have any questions about this new service, please contact [email protected] and [email protected].
