Kudos to AUSTIN JAMES BOWLES, a junior from Eisenhower HS, and also a sophomore student at Cameron, and the Vice-President of the Accounting club! At the 44th Annual Academic Interscholastic Contest, he placed first for Accounting; first for Intro to Business. Austin will earn his Associate’s degree in Business in May 2026.

Congratulations to CADYN YOUNG and NOLAN MARTIN for taking DC by storm! They were awarded the coveted scholarship for the National Leadership Training (NLT) in Washington DC, sponsored by the Association of Government Accountants (AGA).

Only eleven students were selected nationwide. We are so proud of our two accounting seniors students from Cameron University, Lawton, Oklahoma.

A private tour of the US Capitol was afforded them courtesy of friends of Cameron University.

Congratulations! Two of our accounting club members, CADYN YOUNG and NOLAN MARTIN were awarded the coveted national scholarships for the National Collegiate Leadership Program (NCLP). These two students will travel to Washington DC on Feb. 18-19, 2026 to attend the National Leadership Training (NLT) sponsored by the Association of Government Accountants (AGA). They are student members of the AGA.

Only fifteen students are selected nationwide annually. We are so proud of our two accounting seniors students are selected to represent Cameron University in this national leadership training.

We sponsored one girl and one boy for The Angel Tree program, which is an initiative by the Salvation Army for donors to provide new toys, clothes, and gifts for children in need during Christmas. We are grateful to our supporters that make it possible.

The Accounting Club members volunteered at the holiday celebration of Goodyear. We managed to give away over a hundred boxes of Christmas cupcakes within our 3.5 hours of cake walk!
