We are still in need of a $30 gift card from Walmart for our adopted seniors for Christmas. Can anyone donate cash for all or part?

We have adopted two senior ladies from the Salvation Army for Christmas. Here is the breakdown of what each woman is needing...

Rosalie #912- age 65
Likes purple/ wears an XL
Gloves/hat
Handheld mirror
Pretty placemats & napkins
Grocery gift card- Walmart
Other gift card- Walmart

Gertie #913- age 79
Likes pink & yellow/ wears a Medium
Sweater
Blanket
Scarf
Grocery gift card- Walmart
Other gift card- Walmart

Please do not gift wrap. Label each gift with family #. Each lady needs a $30 card for groceries and $30 for the other needs card. Convenient for us that both ladies want Walmart for both cards. Please email or text Kris Gregg or Kathy Hellwege to donate to this great cause. Sorry for the short notice. All gifts must be turned in to the Salvation Army by Wednesday at 5pm so please let us know asap if you are able to donate and Kathy & Kris will coordinate gifts and deliver. Cash donations are also very welcome. We can collect them and get Walmart gift cards. Let's make this Christmas very merry for these ladies!!!

Join us tomorrow for our April 14th meeting when we honor Earth Day. Our speaker is our own Linda Richards Stoker (Xi) who is a volunteer at the Overland Park Arboretum.

Meet at: Multipurpose Room of the Leawood Baptist Church, at 83rd and State Line.

Date April 14th
Time: 7:00 pm. Casual dress. Light refreshments.

Be sure to bring your filled out sheets for the Butter Bread pastries (no trans fats), and Home and Family Fundraising.
