They helped provide free medical, dental, and vision care to people in need. Great job everyone!

Participate in a survey conducted by Jake Whicker, a Registered Nurse and Ph.D. student at East Tennessee State University, focusing on the Burnout Experiences of Community Public Health Nurses.

This survey aims to explore your experiences as a nurse working in non-hospital environments during the COVID-19 Emergency Declaration Period, which occurred from March 13, 2020, to May 11, 2023—a time recognized as the COVID-19 pandemic. Completing the survey will take around 10 to 12 minutes of your time.

Some of our Community Health Nursing students spent the day volunteering with Jake Whicker at the Remote Area Medical clinic in Sparta, TN. Thank you to everyone who helped provide free medical care to those in need.

We're in full swing in Sparta, Tennessee!

✔️ Over 110 patients have been registered, and we’ve provided nearly $50,000 worth of free healthcare services—including dental, vision, and medical care!
