South Carolina State University will waive graduate application fees and GRE and GMAT score requirements for prospective students seeking admission for the Spring 2027 semester.

The waivers take effect Oct. 15, 2026, as part of an initiative by SC State's Office of Graduate Services to make graduate education more accessible and encourage qualified students to pursue advanced degrees.

The initiative applies to prospective students seeking admission to the university's master's, specialist and doctoral degree programs.

Initiated into Omega Psi Phi through the Alpha Psi Chapter @ Howard University in 1923, Bro. Drew’s life reflected a profound commitment to excellence for ALL.

This release commemorates the 85th anniversary year of Dr. Drew's historic appointment as the first medical director of the Red Cross Blood Program.

Through interviews with members of the Drew family and cultural voices across medicine, service and advocacy, the film reintroduces his story to a new generation.
