The Northwestern State University Leesville/Fort Polk Campus brought Carnival Craze to campus today during the Big Spring Blowout! Students stopped by for free T-shirts, popcorn, and picked up their copy of the Potpourri yearbook.

NSU Campuses Closed Monday Due to Anticipated Winter Weather

Due to anticipated winter storm conditions and in coordination with guidance from the National Weather Service and local officials, all Northwestern State University campuses will be closed Monday, January 26, 2026.

Residence halls will remain open for students who choose to stay on campus, and dining services will operate on a modified schedule. Students should follow university safety protocols and monitor official dining services social media accounts for updates. The Food Pantry will be open Friday from 8–10 a.m. to support students in need.

The university will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates as they evolve. Please follow NSU’s official communication channels for the latest information.
