During my first semester at South Plains College, I established a percussion quartet that greatly exceeded my expectations. While programming music for the semester, I wanted to play a piece that contrasted the drum-centric music that usually appears in most percussion ensemble performances. This performance uses only metallic percussion instruments of indefinite pitch and creates a unique musical atmosphere.
