Congratulations to the 2026 Projects for Peace award winner civil engineering student Chris Fonye, an international student from Cameroon, who successfully launched a youth empowerment initiative called “Skill to Leadership” in Yaoundé, Cameroon this summer. The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is pleased to announce that Dominic Viozzi, '27, has been selected as the 2026-2027 recipient of the Moles Scholarship. The Moles is an organization dedicated to promoting the heavy construction industry, and its members are among the most successful leaders in the profession.

The Moles Charitable Fund provides scholarships to academically qualified students at Bucknell and other colleges and universities participating in the Moles education program. The scholarship is awarded to a sophomore- or junior-year civil engineering student who exhibits excellent academic achievement and demonstrates a strong interest in the heavy construction industry. Congratulations, Dom!
