New week, new CI Ambassador to meet! 😊

Introducing Delaney Wolfe, a senior majoring in integrated strategic communication with a minor in English! On campus, she serves as vice president of membership for the ISC Association. She's involved with Happy Cats, a student organization dedicated to spreading positivity and promoting mental health awareness. Delaney is excited to be a CI Ambassador because she loves helping students discover their passions and find where they belong. Whether it's at UK or another university, she enjoys helping high school students find the college that's the right fit for them.

Fun fact: Delaney can recite every Twilight movie by heart.

CI will host the 2026 James C. Bowling Executive-in-Residence Lecture at 5 p.m. next Monday, Oct. 19 in Pence Hall's Wrigley Auditorium. The lecture is free and open to the public.

This year's lecture will be delivered by London-based strategic communications adviser and BBC Radio 4 presenter Farzana Baduel. Additionally, as chief executive and co-founder of Curzon PR, Baduel has spent 16 years advising governments, helping leaders manage crises and communicate authentically.

Those interested are also encouraged to attend the Bowling Lecture's corresponding panel (see second image) the following Tuesday, Oct. 20, featuring Baduel and other public relations professionals. The panel will be held in 104 White Hall Classroom Building from 2–3:15 p.m.

Next up is Meg Brock! Meg is a healthcare communication major from London, Kentucky. During her time at UK, she has earned Dean's List honor every semester while immersing herself (and flourishing😄) in DanceBlue, Club Athletics, the Sales Club and CI's academic Greek organization! Her past service as a CI Peer Mentor showed her firsthand how transformative student involvement can be, and she couldn't be more excited to give back as an ambassador. Meg loves to help our CI Wildcats navigate campus, connect and thrive throughout their academic journeys, and we're so grateful for it!

Fun fact: Meg hasn't missed a single home football game since she became a UK student. 🏈

It’s Big Blue Day at Keeneland! 💙 Wear blue and take home a little Wildcat spirit.

Today’s commemorative print, “Bet on Blue,” is the work of University of Kentucky College of Communication and Information alum Aimee Griffith ’06. Her journey took her from Kentucky to Australia, where she discovered painting, and eventually back home.
