In chapel today, Bro. Joel Fugate preached “The Attitude of Charity” from I Corinthians 13.

Charity should shape our service, our standards of living, and our sacrifice. The measure of love is seen in how patiently and faithfully we live for others.

Bro. Ed Schwarz preached from John 6:14–21 today.

The disciples rowed through the storm, doing what they could; then the Lord brought them to their destination.

Spiritual growth is often gradual. Keep moving forward in obedience. Procrastination, misplaced priorities, and comparison can become detours along the way.

Commonwealth Baptist College is a SOUL-WINNING college, and we are not ashamed of it! Soul winning is in our DNA!

Our faculty lead by example. We don’t just teach students how to win souls to Christ—we go with them and put what we teach into practice.

Let your light shine!

“Their rock is not as our Rock” (Deuteronomy 32:31).

Bro. Young reminded us that Jesus Christ is our faithful, unchanging Rock. Yet even Israel neglected the One who sustained them.

How is your relationship with the Lord? Are you resting in Him or drifting from Him?

What a wonderful day at College Days!

After visiting the Ark Encounter, our guests enjoyed a delicious buffet and personal fellowship with Pastor Jeff Fugate and our administration. At CBC, our leadership is approachable, available, and genuinely interested in every student.

Tonight, some well-deserved rest before another day of classes and chapel!

What a wonderful first two days of College Days at Commonwealth Baptist College!

From Wednesday evening church services at Clays Mill Baptist Church and a fun night at Activate Games to classes, chapel, fellowship, and today’s visit to the Ark Encounter, we’ve enjoyed every moment with these young people!

But what excites us most isn’t the activities—it’s what God is doing in hearts. CBC is more than a place to attend college; it’s a place to grow spiritually and prepare for a lifetime of serving the Lord.

We’re already rejoicing over the spiritual decisions these young people have made, and we’re praying that God will continue to work in their hearts.

The friendships and memories are wonderful, but the decisions made for Christ can last a lifetime!

David defeated Goliath, but the battle against the giants did not end there.

In II Samuel 21:15–22, David’s servants fought faithfully, trusting God for victory. The enemy may bring another spear or sword, but no weapon is new to the Lord.

God still needs faithful servants willing to stand.

The battle for a clean life is fought in the mind.

Today in chapel, Mike Dunn preached from Psalm 119:9–16 on “How to Control Your Thought Life”: get your mind clean with God’s Word, build guard rails around it, and internalize the Scriptures.

“Thy word have I hid in mine heart.”
