The Original colony was organized on November 8, 1982 and was located at 251 E. Maxwell Blvd. It folded sometime in the winter of 1984 due to difficulties with finances. KY Beta Colony was reactivated on October 26, 1984. The Motto:
As an organization we strive to live up to our motto, "The great joy of serving others." Through this lifestyle we organize service events to better our local community and our national philanthropy, the Boys and Girls Club of America.
