CPHS alumni, faculty, staff and students came together for Campbell University Homecoming, reconnecting at the Alumni Block Party and cheering on the Camels at the football game!

The weather moved the block party indoors, but the skies cleared in time for football and even more Campbell pride. 🏈

Spooky fun. Serious teamwork. 🎃👻

Haunted Hospital brings students from across CPHS and CUSOM together for interprofessional learning with a Halloween twist! With costumes encouraged, this IPE event combines creativity and fun with opportunities to learn from one another and build the teamwork skills future healthcare professionals need.

And if a few photos look a little hazy, blame the fog machine. It took its role in creating a spooky atmosphere very seriously! 😂🌫️

A healthier community starts with working together. 🧡

Dr. Jeff Mercer, dean of Campbell University’s College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, joined healthcare and education leaders for the Dunn Area Chamber of Commerce's State of Healthcare luncheon.

The conversation explored rural healthcare needs and how collaboration can strengthen access to care. Mercer emphasized Campbell’s role in preparing healthcare professionals and creating opportunities for graduates to build their careers and lives in our region.

Dr. Pam Edwards’ appointment to the Southern Regional AHEC Board of Trustees marks a full-circle moment as she began her career as an educator there in the late 1980s.

As Campbell’s nursing leader and assistant dean of Interprofessional Education, Edwards has helped guide record nursing enrollment and expanded opportunities for students to learn across health professions. Her three-year board term will support SR-AHEC’s work to strengthen the regional health workforce and improve access to care.
