Spring 2026 bills are now available!
You may access your detailed billing statement and financial aid award through LU Self- Service. Should you have questions for the Office of the Bursar, please contact us by email at [email protected] or by phone at 484-365-8080. Questions regarding Financial Aid should be addressed to Financial Aid.
All balances should be paid in full and Spring 2026 semester financial clearance is required before you will be allowed to attend any Spring 2026 classes. You may visit the website below for payment options and other important information about financial clearance.

Spring 2026 Nelnet payment plans have opened! Make sure to enroll early to take advantage of the 6 monthly installments plan.
If you enroll in a CENGAGE subscription for any of your courses, you will be accessed a fee in the amount of $210.00. The subscription is valid for a full year and may be used for an unlimited number of courses within that year.
You should share this information with your parents, guardian, or anyone that may be assisting you with fulfilling your financial obligation to Lincoln University. Students expecting payments from international sources should initiate payment requests well in advance.
The deadline to complete financial clearance for the upcoming Spring 2026 semester is Friday, January 2. However, try to have this completed as soon as possible. Come the end of December our office receives hundreds of phone calls and emails daily. If you wait, we cannot guarantee that you will be cleared in time to move in.

Lincoln University (LU) requires all main campus students, including all students living in residential housing, international students and commuters, to carry personal health insurance.

Students who attend class at the main campus are automatically enrolled in the LU student health insurance plan offered by Wellfleet with the annual premium billed to each student’s account in two separate payments of $455. One payment will be billed in the Fall semester and the second payment will be billed in the Spring semester.

Students already covered under a health insurance plan may request to waive coverage. Please note that the deadline to submit a request to waive coverage is September 1st, 2025.

In the coming weeks, Wellfleet will send a communication to each student’s official Lincoln University email address. This communication will contain important information related to LU’s student health insurance plan benefits as well as instructions on requesting a waiver of coverage. International students please note that you do not have the option of participating in the waiver process.

Please be sure to check your email regularly for this very important communication.

Hi all, I hope you are enjoying your summer break so far! The Office of the Bursar would like to announce that the Fall 2025 bills are up on LU Self-Service. You may look at your bill to get a head start on budgeting with a Nelnet payment plan for this upcoming Fall semester. There is a 6-month term payment plan option if you enroll by June 30th , 5-month term plan by July 31st, and a 4-month term if you enroll by August 1st for the payment plan. Class of 2025, Congratulations on your graduation! As you prepare to join the workforce or attend Graduate school, it is important that you resolve your past due balance(s) on your student account. These balances must be paid in full prior to you receiving your degree and/or transcript. The official Lincoln University financial policy states that all students must have a zero ($0) balance on their student account. An unpaid balance will not be carried over to the next semester.

You may access your detailed billing statement and financial aid award through LU Self- Service. If you are covered by the Lincoln University Student Health Insurance Plan for the 24-25 academic year. This policy runs from August 1, 2024 to July 31, 2025. If you have obtained qualifying alternate insurance during the fall semester, and wish to terminate the Lincoln University SHIP plan for the spring plan, you must take action to do so prior to December 9, 2024.

In order to terminate your LU SHIP plan, your alternative coverage must:

1. Satisfy state and federal minimum benefit requirements, and
2. Provide effective coverage in the LU campus area, and
3. Be in effect through the end of the spring semester.

Hi everyone, we wish you the best of luck on your finals this week! Make sure to select your courses for the Fall 2024 semester. Once you have register for the Fall 2024 term, you will be able to log into your LU Self-Service Student Finance and view your bill. You will have an updated bill early, to set up payment arrangements to cover any outstanding balance due for Fall 2024 and obtain financial clearance.

Spring 2024 bills are now available on LU Self-Service! You may view your bill to get a head start on budgeting with a Nelnet payment plan for the upcoming Spring 2024 semester. Enroll in the 6 monthly installments payment plan by December 11, 2023, a 5 monthly installments payment plan by January 10, 2024, or a 4 monthly installments payment plan by February 8, 2024. Spring 2024 Nelnet payment plans are now available! Enroll early to take advantage of the 6 monthly installments plan.

Having trouble estimating your budget amount? No problem – Review your Fall 2023 bill to see what your overall balance was for the term and use this balance amount as a starting point.

Budget an estimated Spring 2024 balance to get started and increase or decrease later on once your Spring 2024 bill becomes available via LU Self-Service. The Office of the Bursar staff is here to help you with any required adjustments.

Hi Lincoln University Students

Lincoln University (LU) requires all main campus students, including all students living in residential housing, international students and commuters, to carry personal health insurance.
