Tabu Chapter of Swing Phi Swing The Gendaga Bimbisha Tabu Chapter of Swing Phi Swing Social Fellowship, Inc. was chartered in 1996 at The Lincoln University.

The first presence of Swing Phi Swing Social Fellowship Inc. on Lincoln University’s campus began in 1978 when four young women pledged with the “Vibing 17” Chic Wolverine Chapter (Cheyney State University). The Lincoln University Chapter was founded on Sunday, April 21, 1996 by Ebony Turner. In the summer of 1996, the Lincoln University Chapter adopted the name Gendaga Bimbisha Tabu by Danyelle W

iggins. Today, the Tabu Chapter continues to make a impact in their community. These sisters participate in variety of community service in and off campus. They have been awarded for Chapter of the Year, Commitment to Service, Highest Chapter GPA, Program of the Year, and competed in numerous step shows.
