Congratulations to Susan J. Rosowski Associate Professor Massimiliano Pierobon and Ph.D. student Shohaib Shaffiey! They co-authored a paper published at the 2026 International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML), held July 6–11 in Seoul, South Korea. Shaffiey attended and presented the paper at the conference.

Congratulations to computer engineering major Caleb Hans and his fellow Husker Rocketry teammates! They earned seventh place among 141 schools and fourth in their division at the International Rocket Engineering Competition in Texas this summer.

After a year of design, testing and fine-tuning, Husker Rocketry's competition flight delivered when it mattered most. The student team earned seventh place among 141 schools and fourth in its division at the International Rocket Engineering Competition in Texas.
