Phi Kappa Tau is a national men's fraternity, founded at Nebraska Wesleyan in 1923. The fraternity's focus is on "Developing men of character into men of distinction." Phi Kappa Tau has a longstanding and well-deserved reputation for providing men an opportunity to enjoy all the benefits that come from a lifelong commitment to brotherhood through fellowship, service, and principled ethical leaders

This year we will be hosting our annual homecoming event during Wesleyan Weekend!! We will have breakfast and snacks at the house before we head over to the student center for our ceremony!! We are hoping to see our alumni there on the 11th!

This November, we will be organizing a Movember campaign. Movember aims to build a future with healthier men and healthier communities by focusing on issues of mental health, su***de prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer in men. To contribute, the men of Phi Tau will be contributing incentives for specific donation goals to reach our top goal of $350!
$50: Eric Lenz and Colin Wojtkiewicz will share a peanut butter, sardine sandwich!
$150: Jacob Carbee will run a half marathon in cold conditions!
$250: Matthew Schmeeckle will shave his head!
$350: Jeris Anndannandus will get a Phi Tau tattoo! �

All incentives will be shared on our Instagram story! To help contribute, please donate to our Venmo, , all donation descriptions should include a mention of “Movember”. This campaign will end December 1st. Reach out to Jacob Carbee with any questions regarding the campaign!

Phi Kappa Tau recently hosted alumni, friends, and family at our annual Homecoming Celebration. We were able to recognize the following alumni for their outstanding achievements:

Mike Herring ’77 - Harry Huge Outstanding Alumnus Loyalty Award

Warren Mattox ’69 - John M. Green Outstanding Alumnus Leadership Award

Evan Marshall ’15 - Outstanding Young Alumnus Award

Congratulations to these three men and thank you to all of the alumni, friends, and family who were in attendance!

We are hosting our Alumni Tailgate on Friday, September 20, 2024 vs. Illinois! Feel free to stop by starting at 4:00 pm.

All alumni are welcome to stop by for snacks and drinks before the game. The tailgate is located in lot 8 connected directly to the north entrance into the stadium off of Salt Creek Roadway.

This will be a great opportunity for undergraduates and alumni to connect! 🏈🏟️

The Upsilon Chapter at Nebraska Wesleyan University recently received three awards from Nationals! Congratulations to Max Draus, Nolan Eatherton, and the Upsilon Chapter for these amazing accomplishments. We are very proud of what we have done so far as a chapter and look forward to what is in store for the 2024-2025 year!

Jack Jareo Award:
This award is given to the Phi kappa Tau chapter with the most outstanding newsletter. Communication is one of the most important and determining factors when it comes to keeping your alumni frequently up-to-date and involved in the chapter. No Phi Tau newsletter has accomplished what our chapter here at Nebraska Wesleyan has. And we are so lucky to have the amazing members that we do to make accomplishments like this possible

William H. Shideler:
This award is given to the most outstanding Graduating senior. This is one of Phi Kappa Tau’s most distinguished and highest honored awards. This award was given to our member, Max Draus. Max has been an amazing and inspirational leader for the Men of the Upsilon chapter here at Nebraska Wesleyan.

Clinton D. Boyd:
This award is given to the most outstanding Vice President for Alumni Relations. Phi Kappa Tau has one of the strongest and most active alumni bases in the country, and it takes a very strong leader to be able to keep alumni involved and informed with chapter events and news. This Award was given to our member, Nolan Eatherton. Nolan has been an incredibly reliable and responsible leader to the men of the Upsilon chapter here at Nebraska Wesleyan.

Max Draus and Nolan Eatherton have shown time and time again that they can get things done and what it really means to be a Phi Tau! We are so excited to see what the future holds for these two.
