Kappa Delta is a sorority committed to providing experiences and opportunities to its members that inspire them to greatness.

Pi Chapter of Kappa Delta was founded at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln on April 10, 1920. We pride ourselves in succeeding in our five areas of chapter excellence: academic excellence, social success, philanthropy, leadership, and membership. Our philanthropies, KD Quesadillas and Chilifest, raise money for CEDARS and Prevent Child Abuse America, and we work with local Girl Scout troops. S

For our final Meet Council Monday, we are so excited to highlight Maddie Vue, PC ’24, a sophomore from Woodbury, MN, majoring in Nutrition, Exercise, & Health Science! 💝

A message from Maddie: “My favorite part so far has definitely been planning dinner swaps and study nights with other Panhellenic chapters! It’s such a fun and easy way to connect with other women in our Panhellenic community. I also love working with the other women on Council and on my committees. Everyone is so passionate and hardworking, which creates such a positive environment. I’m also super excited for Homecoming this fall!”

As our Panhellenic Delegate, Maddie collaborates with other Greek organizations on campus to strengthen relationships and represent Kappa Delta within the Panhellenic community. She also oversees our intramural teams and our banner making committees.

We love you, Maddie! We couldn’t think of a better person to represent Panhel love. 💚💚

“Starting primary recruitment, I was looking for a group of women to find my home away from home in. I knew Kappa Delta was the chapter for me after having such amaizng conversations and connecting with all the women I talked during the week. Kappa delta felt like home right away. Living in the house, I made lifelong friends who always encouraged me and gave me the best memories! My roommates in 304 became my biggest supporters and never failed to make me laugh. From studying abroad together to watching my little sister run home, this chapter makes every experience better. Being in Kappa Delta has made my college experience mean so much more, and I’m so thankful for this chapter!”

Today we welcomed PC ’26 into our Kappa Delta Pi Chapter, and our hearts could not be more full! Getting to celebrate Bid Day with these beautiful women and officially welcome them into the sisterhood we love so much was the sweetest way to end an unforgettable week. 🫶

Philanthropy Day 💚
Today was all about sharing the heart behind Kappa Delta. Hearing what you’re passionate about and sharing why philanthropy means so much to us made today even more special.💚

Serving our community isn’t just something we do, it’s a HUGE part of who we are. Through our partnerships with Girl Scouts of the USA, Prevent Child Abuse America, and Cedars Home for Children, we’re able to build confidence, inspire action and make a difference together.💫💗
