✨WHY SIGMA ALPHA SPOTLIGHT with the lovely Meg Anderson! ✨

We are so grateful to have Meg in our chapter! She truly embodies what Sigma Alpha stands for with her love for both agriculture and people, and the positive attitude she brings into every place. We’re lucky to call her our sister!

When asked why she chose to rush Sigma Alpha, Meg responded:

“I joined Sigma Alpha during the spring semester of my freshman year, and I will tell you over and over again that it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Growing up in agriculture, I knew that when I came to UNL I wanted to find a community of people who shared my love for the industry. Sigma Alpha gave me that and so much more. I didn’t just find a community, I found sisters who push me to be my best, support me in everything I do, and lead with kindness and compassion. These girls are more than my friends; they are my Sigma sisters, and I love each and every one of them with my whole heart. Being able to serve our community and the great state of Nebraska with these wonderful ladies is truly a blessing. Sigma Alpha, thank you for bringing incredible people into my life who continue to inspire me every single day. I thank the Lord for the opportunity to be surrounded by such professional, driven, and faithful women who will make a lasting difference in this world. I am forever grateful to be a part of Sigma Alpha!!“

Over 800,000 acres have burned in Nebraska from wildfires over the past two months, damaging many fence lines, structures, hay supplies, and leaving many without grass for the year. Neighbors across the state have donated time, resources, and money to help everyone affected.

These T-shirts were created to further support wildfire recovery. This fundraiser is led by Sigma Alpha chapters at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and Fort Hays State University, and hosted in collaboration through Trailblazers. Portion of the proceeds from every T-shirt will be donated to Nebraska Sandhills Rancher Fire Relief Fund.
