Let us know if you would like more information about our new apprentice training pathway. This is not a replacement for our automotive programs, it is another option that may be a perfect fit for some employers and employees. We will start our second group of apprentices in January 2027.

You may know, SCC had a fantastic showing at SkillsUSA Nationals and came home with some pretty awesome new hardware this year! 🥇🥈🥉
Two of our national medalists, Claire Uhler (Automotive Technology – Milford Campus) and Emma Uhler (Auto Collision – Milford Campus), have been invited on an all-expenses-paid trip to the Snap-on Makers and Fixers 250 IndyCar Race this Saturday in West Allis, Wisconsin!
And the excitement doesn’t stop there...
Not only do these two talented ladies get to attend the race, but they will also be the ones behind the microphone, giving the command every race fan wants to hear:
“Drivers... start your engines!” 🏎️🏁
Talk about an incredible opportunity! What an awesome way for Claire and Emma to represent SCC—and an even better example of what it means to Do More! 💙

The first meeting of the SCC RC club will be an informational meeting. Mainly we will be a talking about what RC’s we will be running.

The meeting is Monday August 31st at 4:30pm in the Eicher building. Room 137.

With the semester starting tomorrow this time of year always makes me think of this commercial from the 90’s.

That won’t be our technicians though. Ours will be engaged every minute and having fun every other minute!

Hey all you future auto tech students.

Here is a reminder for the start of the semester.

Textbook: It’s digital and the access code can be picked up at the SCC bookstore.

Program shirts: Also can be picked up at the SCC bookstore. Get a few. No one wants to smell.

Nonslip work shoes: Can be picked up online or in your favorite store. If you already have a pair great! They must say ‘non-slip’ or ‘slip resistant’ on them somewhere.

Multi-meter: Can be purchased thru the SCC bookstore or elsewhere. This will be discussed the first day or so of class.

Tool bag: Can be purchased thru the SCC bookstore or assembled yourself. Check the auto tech tool list for the required contents.

We have a new position that will be working with a variety of transportation programs here at SCC. This position will be providing lab support and parts ordering duties.
