We are SO thankful for everyone who donated and helped make the day special! πŸ’šπŸ€ Every donation, big or small, means so much to us and helps us continue providing opportunities and experiences for the youth in our community.

And of course… Miss Madi couldn’t deprive the kids of the joy of getting to PIE HER IN THE FACE!πŸ˜‚πŸ₯§

We have a huge goal for the Back to School Bash tonight, and we need YOUR help to make it happen!

Join us this fall for Journeyman Farmer!

Ready to grow your farm with confidence?

Join us this fall for the Journeyman Farmer Certificate Program, a two-part series designed to help new and aspiring farmers build a strong foundation for success.

Part 1: Small Business Course (September 22–October 1)
Learn the essentials of running a successful farm business, including market feasibility, financial management, risk management, marketing, technology, and business planning.

Part 2: Small Ruminant Production Course (October 6–20)
Develop the knowledge and hands-on skills needed for successful sheep and goat production, including nutrition, pasture management, predator control, herd health, parasite management, and meat production.

The program concludes with a hands-on training on October 22 (8:00 AM–12:00 PM) at Double Bridges Farm in Athens, GA.

β€’ Classes meet Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 PM
β€’ Location: Lincoln County Ag Center
β€’ Cost: $50 per course/part (Small Business and/or Small Ruminant)

We are hosting an awesome Back to School Bash! πŸŽ‰ It is completely FREE to attend and open to everyone in our community! Come out and join us for a fantastic evening packed with fun activities, delicious snacks, and a whole lot more! 🍿🏰

EXCITING NEWS!! A NEW 4-H AFTER-SCHOOL CLUB!!!

Junior Jam is a fun, welcoming 4-H after-school program designed specifically for 6th–8th grade students. This club provides a space for middle schoolers to stay connected and involved in 4-H by learning about upcoming local, district, and state events, activities, and contests.

When? Third Thursday of the Month, (1st meeting 9/17), 3:30 until 5
Where? 4-H Office
Who? 6th - 8th Graders
Registration? You will call to register on the designated club registration days; more details on these dates will be released soon!

The objective of Junior Jam is to increase middle school student involvement in 4-H by providing a consistent, engaging, and supportive after-school program. The club aims to keep students informed about 4-H opportunities while helping them develop important life skills such as communication, confidence, social awareness, and personal responsibility. Through interactive lessons and a welcoming atmosphere, Junior Jam encourages students to build connections, grow as individuals, and remain active participants in their local 4-H program.

In addition to 4-H updates, Junior Jam focuses on engaging, age-appropriate lessons that support personal growth and real-life skills. Topics include building friendships, practicing good manners, managing social anxiety, improving hygiene, and developing confidence in social settings. Junior Jam creates an encouraging environment where students can learn, grow, and feel comfortable being themselves while staying active in 4-H.
