✨ Learning from the Best! ✨

Our Cosmetology students recently had the opportunity to learn from a professional Esthetician during an exciting makeup demonstration! Students gained valuable insight into professional makeup application techniques, product knowledge, skin preparation, and industry best practices.

Hands-on learning experiences like this help bridge the gap between the classroom and the beauty industry, giving our students the skills and confidence needed for future success.

On Monday, April 13, 2026, Gaston College’s Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Manicuring programs proudly hosted our second annual Career Day. This event provided students with the opportunity to engage directly with professionals from salons, spas, product supply companies, and other areas of the beauty and wellness industry.

Career Day offered invaluable access to industry knowledge, real-world experience, and career guidance from seasoned professionals. Through meaningful conversations and networking opportunities, students gained insight into current trends, expectations, and pathways for success, helping them feel more confident and prepared as they transition from the classroom into their future careers.
