The University Science Scholars Program is a scholarship and enrichment program for UALR undergraduate students majoring in biology, chemistry, physics, or mathematics. These scholars are members of a learning community where they take STEM courses together, enroll in a specialized first-year experience course, live together in on-campus housing, and attend workshops, seminars, and field trips. An

important enrichment aspect of the program is the exposure to undergraduate research and internship opportunities.
