A film crew with the Seminole Nation is here today to interview Dr. Littlefield about Seminole Removal through Arkansas. They have been using our website Journey of Survival to locate important sites to visit in the state and plan to film more on their way back to Oklahoma.

Mark you calendars for June 27 to attend the Oklahoma Chapter of the Trail of Tears Association as they mark the grave of James Downing, a survivor of the forced removal of Cherokee people. Dr. Littlefield will be the featured speaker for the event.

Assistant Director & Archivist Erin Fehr was in Salt Lake City to speak at the Music Library Association conference. It was held down the street from the FamilySearch Library, where she found three of Dr. Littlefield’s books in their library!
