LHU TRIO Student Support Services Scholars Program Student Support Services (SSS) is a federal TRIO program funded to serve first-generation college students & students who meet other eligibility guidelines.

TRIO Student Support Services now has a Snapchat account. The handle is lhutriosss. Peer Mentors will be in and out of the Snapchat with daily and weekly updates.

On Friday, Peer Mentors and Coordinators got together at Golden Axe for an unforgettable night! It was such a great opportunity to bond, relax, and take a break from our busy schedules. We enjoyed good food, lots of laughs, and meaningful conversations that brought everyone closer together.

Of course, the highlight of the night was the friendly axe throwing competition! Everyone got in on the action, cheering each other on and celebrating every bullseye (and even the misses). It was the perfect mix of teamwork, competition, and fun, making it an unforgettable night!

All I can say is WOW! National TRIO Day & First Generation Celebration was a huge success!! What an incredible event. Hearing from five different alumni as they shared information, gave advice, and told their personal stories was truly inspiring. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate this amazing day, and a special thank you to our TRIO Director for putting it all together. What a memorable celebration!
