Friday-Saturday, Oct. 23-24: "BookFest" at Stokes Nature Center, located at 2696 East Hwy 89 in Logan Canyon. BookFest activities are free and all are welcome.
BookFest includes:
+ Friday, Oct. 23 - "Nature Tales Story & Craft Time," at 11 am.
+ Saturday, Oct. 24 - Kids Yoga and Author Reading from Zach Garner, author of "Half Moon on the Moon."
Stokes Nature Center is located about a mile east of First Dam, at the mouth of Logan Canyon. The center is on the south side of Hwy. 89 and the south bank of the Logan River.
Put on your walking shoes: Parking is available along the highway at the Logan River Trail entrance gate leading to the center (south side of highway) or across the street by the Cache National Forest sign (north side of highway.) From the parking area at Hwy 89, the center is a 10-minute walk along the Logan River Trail gravel path.
