Please join us in congratulating Dr. Vishal Arghode, Associate Professor of Human Capital Development, on the recent publication of an article he co-authored, “The Green Learning Loop: Reframing L&D as a Systemic Driver of Organisational Sustainability,” with Dr. Bhagyashree Barhate of Texas State University.

The article introduces the Green Learning Loop, a systems-based model that demonstrates how learning, culture, and HR systems can work together to support organizational sustainability and foster green workplace behaviors.

Congratulations to Babatunde Adebayo, Reggie Matthews, and BenG Goudy, current students in the Human Capital Development (Instructional Technology and Design) doctoral program, for their contributions to the Southern Spark 2026 Conference, Grounded Futures: AI in the South.

Babatunde Adebayo and Reggie Matthews were featured in the Generative Minds journal, with Babatunde contributing the research article, “Generative Artificial Intelligence in Human Resource Development: Advancing Assessment Practices for Career Readiness in Higher Education,” and Reggie contributing a featured paper, “From Prompt to Product.”

BenG Goudy presented his poster, “Designing an Instructional Technology Intervention to Increase AI Readiness Among Adult Learners in Community-Based Education Programs.”

Congratulations to Dr. Shinhee Park and Dr. Zikai Zhou on being recognized at the USM Faculty and Staff Awards Ceremony as recipients of Coursera Integration Mini-Grants.

The mini-grant program, supported by the Office of the Provost, encourages faculty to integrate Coursera Career Academy content, industry-recognized micro-credentials, and guided projects into the curriculum to enhance student learning, engagement, and career readiness.
