During this 45-minute presentation you will learn about STTI's history, take a virtual tour of membership benefits and resources and learn how you can get involved and stay engaged. There is a chance to ask questions as well.

Iota Eta Chapter participates in the Odyssey conference sponsored by Southern California STTI chapters. The next meeting is on January 29th starting at 1600 in Anaheim. If you are interested in easily becoming more involved in the chapter, email Monica at [email protected] for more information.

The Iota Eta Chapter meeting has been moved to Wednesday, December 7th! In addition to discussing plans and details of upcoming STTI events, we will be working with CNSA to make Christmas cards for the kids at Miller Children's Hospital. Again, if you haven't been to any of the meetings in the past,this will be a great opportunity for you to meet the board members and catch up on chapter news! The event will be held from 5:30pm-7pm at CSULB School of Nursing Learning Center. As active members, your attendance to Chapter events are highly encouraged!

Please join us on Tuesday, December 6th for the next Iota Eta Chapter meeting! If you haven't been to any of the meetings in the past,this will be a great opportunity for you to meet the board members and catch up on chapter news! We will be reviewing strategic plans and discussing details of upcoming STTI events. We will also be discussing plans for obtaining the Chapter Key Award and are looking to all of our members for assistance! The meeting will be held from 5:30pm-7:30pm at CSULB School of Nursing Learning Center. As active members, your attendance to Chapter meetings are highly encouraged.

Hi! This is Sheeba Bronilla, secretary of STTI Iota Eta Chapter! I just got back from representing our Iota Eta chapter as one of two delegates at STTI 41st Biennial Convention held at Grapevine, Texas! It was incredible being able to meet with other members of our society from around the world that share the great passion of nursing! I was able to attend several seminars that had presentations and discussion on interesting topics such as communication tools, technology advancement, ethics, improving professional roles, and pathways to advance degrees. I also had the privilege to meet with Deans and Directors of MSN, DNP, and PhD programs from universities allover the U.S.! Did I mention the delicious Texas BBQ I was able to have with Anita F. and Monica T.!?! I am stoked to start working on chapter keys and hope you can all come to the next convention in 2013! :)

Join us for a discussion on bedside ethics and role of the nurse in the ethics consultation process during the 3rd Annual Dialogue of Caring. This event will be held on September 20, 2011 from 6-8pm at the Soroptomist House at CSULB. The guest speaker is Denise Wishner from the Bioethetics Committee of Long Beach VA Medical Center.
