The College of Business is proud to celebrate four of its distinguished faculty members who have been named recipients of the 2025–2026 President’s Awards for Outstanding Faculty Achievement.
Each year, the President’s Awards recognize faculty across the university who exemplify excellence through sustained contributions in teaching, research, service, scholarly and creative activity, administration, and student success initiatives. This year, 13 faculty members from across campus were selected for this prestigious honor, reflecting their dedication to advancing the university’s Beach 2030 priorities.
Among this year’s awardees are four outstanding College of Business faculty:
• Banafsheh Behzad, Ph.D.
• Ming Chen, Ph.D.
• Jessica Robinson, Ph.D.
• Reo Song, Ph.D.

On February 19th, Dean Suazo hosted his long-time friend, Dr. Ian Williamson, Dean of the UC Irvine Paul Merage School of Business, on campus. The day included attending the CSULB men's basketball game versus UC Irvine. The wager between the friends is the losing Dean has to wear the other school's colors. Hence, the wearing of UCI gear by Dean Suazo.
